Turning a limitation into an opportunity; transforming a rural setting into a magical outdoor dining experience

Creating memorable experiences often requires thinking differently when options are limited. In this case, Bright was faced with the challenge of hosting a gala dinner for this pharma co. in a rural location with limited venue choices at the hotel and surrounding area. We successfully transformed the hotel's outdoor space into a magical venue by the lake.

The week-long conference was situated in a rural location, and the prospect of hosting a gala dinner within the confines of the meeting rooms was the only practical option. Recognising the need for a unique and captivating experience, Bright saw an opportunity to leverage the hotel's picturesque grounds, particularly the lakeside area, to create an unforgettable gala dinner setting.

To overcome the limitations of the available indoor spaces, Bright collaborated with suppliers to install a pop-up tipi village on the lawns of the hotel. The unveiling of the tipi village was strategically timed as a surprise for the delegates, adding an element of excitement and anticipation post-business session.

To bring the tipi village to life, we built an open kitchen area and a large bar for the delegates. We strategically placed fire pits on the built terrace with lakeside views. The natural theme was present throughout, organic fabrics were used alongside an array of herbs which complimented the natural palette of the tipis and outdoor setting.

We were able to turn challenges into opportunities. By leveraging the hotel's outdoor space and introducing the tipi, Bright successfully turned a potential limitation into a memorable gala dinner experience.
