Classical British Themed Conference in the Cotswolds

The event was hosted by Refresco's UK office for colleagues from 7 territories across Europe. The UK office's goal was to create a distinctly classical British experience for the international delegates, which would not only represent the UK but also provide a memorable and enjoyable event. The overall success hinged on the commitment to the British theme in every aspect of the event, allowing delegates to truly immerse themselves in the experience.

While the idea of hosting the event in a castle couldn't be realised, opting for Eynsham Hall a Grade II listed 18th-century mansion wasn’t a bad 2nd choice. The British theme was consistently integrated throughout the event, ensuring that every aspect reinforced the theme. Some key elements included the choice of activities like clay pigeon shooting, duck herding, and archery which are quintessentially British.

The use of flat caps, Emma Bridgewater Union Jack teapots and team shirts in the event's merchandise brought the theme to life. These items also served as excellent keepsakes for the attendees. The event concluded with a black-tie evening dinner at Blenheim Palace, a stunning venue that embodies British elegance. The location was also used for the James Bond Spectre film which added an extra layer of glamour and luxury to the experience.

One of the keys to the success of this event was the consistent theme integration maintained throughout. From the venue choice to the activities and the attire, everything was in keeping with the theme. This consistency helped to create a truly immersive experience for the delegates.
