It all started with a caffeine-fuelled chat in an airport coffee shop, waiting for a delayed flight. Our client had a vision: to create a secret garden behind the stage within Wembley Arena and Glasgow Hydro, revealed only at the end of the company update. We were determined to bring this unique concept to life.
Execution
The big reveal was nothing short of mesmerising. Delegates were enchanted as they entered the secret garden, filled with games, a glow-up bar, food and drink, and even a silent disco. It became an unforgettable highlight of the roadshows.
OVO Energy loves thinking outside the box, and when tasked with creating a conference concept for both venues, we knew we had to deliver something truly special. To achieve a sense of intimacy in these large-capacity venues, we reimagined seating arrangements and incorporated high-level production - including tilted side screens, an LED main screen, creative lighting concepts, and a live video artist.
With just a 48-hour turnaround for both events, teamwork was essential to manage the multiple crews, performers, food vendors, and the Trussell Trust charity presence.
From the initial sketches to the final wrap-up, Bright collaborated with the OVO team to design, produce, and manage the details of these extraordinary events, collaborating with our friends at Imagineerium.
