An educational, motivational Annual forum for Pharmacists

In many ways the second annual forum for pharmacists was made easier as the lessons from the first had been learnt and the client was very happy to repeat the event format and structure. The event was nonetheless challenging in its scale! There were 27 satellite sessions, 80 posters and over 100 presenters and sponsors to coordinate.

The event was managed by a 12 strong front of house team co-ordinating delegate registration, exhibition space, catering zones and breakout sessions, supported by a technical team of 20+ building the technical production across 4 floors of the busy conference centre.

The day provided great networking opportunities for the pharmaceutical industry and NHS pharmacists, all reporting a breaking down of barriers and an insight into a more collaborative way forward. The highlight though had to a motivational talk given by the remarkable Debra Searle (see www.debrasearle.com) a lady who most definitely can speak about coping with change with great authority and credibility.
