OVO Energy were looking for a venue with a difference to host their AGM and Christmas Party - we found it at The Bottleyard in South Bristol, better known as a film studio.
With a strictly non-corporate brief, we designed the set to complement the vast industrial space, using neon batons and spray-painted OSB counters for the reception and coffee break space - the conference set used 3 giant stumpfl screens, a fake grass carpet and vintage furniture.
And then, it was all change for the black-tie dinner. With just 2 hours to turn the room around, a 100-strong crew cleared the AGM set; set the tables, chairs and places for 600 diners [including 100s of candles]; and rigged 750 metres of festoon lighting - creating a magical Christmas atmosphere.
Finally, to kick-start the party, Spark! LED drummers led the room from dinner to the dance-floor!
