The L’Oréal LUXE Team, as many others have had to do, recently pivoted their 2-day in-person conference to an online event. Bright proposed a number of solutions and ideas. After a few more emails and meetings, a date was set, and the next 3 weeks were looking very busy!
In the first week, we agreed on the production and technology requirements. We planned to stream all presenters live from a studio in London, the studio was chosen as it had a number of stylish locations as well as a huge infinity cove. Using different locations, camera angles, PiPs and VTs, the 3hr stream was varied and kept the audience engaged.
In the last two weeks, we finalised the scenic concept, theme and studio logistics, think, a luxurious blush pink set with pink sofas and flower walls! Alongside a busy schedule of speaker meetings. We designed the web page in which the stream would sit, adding password protection – the delegate experience was smooth, simple and stylish.
Not forgetting the 500 Deliveroo vouchers that were to be emailed out, so each delegate could enjoy a delicious lunch on the day of the conference – a lovely touch!
The day came and it was great to be back in a studio. We had crew onsite, including a show caller, floor manager and new role, the Covid-19 warden! The conference ran with no glitch’s, and the feedback from the wider L’Oréal team was excellent.
